Hiking up a Mountain
We went hiking this weekend, and it was a blast. There were a lot of humans with us on the hike, but I don't have pictures of them. I wish I had a picture of the Woman screaming and running when she spotted a snake, but I don't. You'll just have to imagine the hilarity of it all. She's such a baby. So anyway, here are my animal friends from this weekend.
This is Buddy. He is a black Lab, and he really likes me. He's got nice teeth, don't you think? Everyone was impressed with how well Buddy did on the hike since he has some hip problems. We were happy he had a good time and didn't slow us down.
Here Buddy is "getting to know me." Like I said earlier, Buddy really likes me, but I don't like him in "that" way. I tried to explain this to him, but he is a senior dog, and he doesn't hear so well. I am worried that he thinks we may be dating, so I am trying to keep my distance and screen his phone calls.
This is Chloe. She is a pretty girl, and she thinks I am her baby. She is Andy and Katherine's first dog. Chloe is very obedient and LOVES people.
This is Copper, Andy and Katherine's second dog. Copper is not so fond of me. I think it's because I move around a lot, and he likes to be in control of things. I'm not really sure though. I hope that as he gets to know me better, we can be friends and he stops barking at me all the time like he is some kind of dog policeman or something. He's not the boss of me! His tail curls like a Pug tail, which is really cool.
This is Skyler, one of Andy and Katherine's three cats. We didn't get pictures of Squeekers or Bandit. Bandit hides most of the time that I am around, and Squeekers just didn't feel photogenic that day, so we respected his wishes. Skyler is a really pretty kitty. The Woman doesn't like kitties, because they get all over your counters and stuff. You see that Skyler is on the counter in this picture - LOL. That would not go over well in our house.
Here we are before the hike getting a treat. You see how all the other dogs are sitting down in this picture, right? Well, supposedly to get the treat, you have to "sit." I do not appreciate having to "sit" to get a treat that is rightfully mine. Needless to say, I got the treat although I did not sit. I am a bad, bad boy.
I don't know if I'll get to blog from alfredsmom's house or not next week, so if you don't see me online, I'll be back later!

What a great group! It's funny, Guido's (my pug) eyes always glow like that in pictures too!

We don't think you are a bad boy Norman. Us Pugs are just so darn cute that we don't have to sit for our treats! And everybody knows it!

Hey Norman!
Cool blog. I have a lab brother, Twix, and he likes other male dogs in that way, too, so it's a good thing I'm a girl! Mom says he's just showing dominance, but I'm not so sure...
Who needs to sit for a treat, anyway? Totally worthless command (and I'm ashamed to say I do it).
Puggy kisses xoxo
