So Long all you Bratz!

Woman was pretty excited to read an article this morning that the makers of Bratz dolls has been banned from producing any more of the toys. She thought to herself, "Wow, they finally realized that these whorish things shouldn't be marketed to 8 year old girls any more. Good for you America." She was disappointed though to find that the injunction is being ordered due to copyright infringment and not because of the actual dolls themselves. It seems Mattel owns the rights to this awful doll, so they'll probably be back on the market before you can say "toddler in a mini-skirt."

The dolls are described as having, "huge lips, pug noses, almond-shaped eyes and coquettish figures," which is marketing code for "whore." Poor Barbie takes crap for her sexy hourglass figure poised atop unattainable 6' legs, but Bratz are allowed to depict 2nd graders in drag costumes. For shame.
