Pumping Snow

The last phase in becoming a Body Pump instructor involves Woman submitting a tape to Les Mills of herself teaching an entire Body Pump class. This tape will be critiqued, and if the evaluator decides Woman is good enough, she will become a certified instructor. Woman filmed her 3rd tape last night, and she is happy with the results, so now she will pay $40 and submit for final critique! Woman is pretty stoked.

And ... some more good news on the Body Pump front - Woman has her own class starting Monday! She will be teaching a Monday night class at 5:30pm at the gym right by our house. Woman is pretty happy about this!

Did I mention that it is snowing right now? Snow. In October. Or as Woman calls it - Oc-freaking-tober. Woman is not stoked about the snow.

snowing in october in asheville

Can you see it? Can you see the snow? Unbelievable.

Is that Norman or an Eskimo dog??! No, it's Norman in the snow! Does Norman like the snow?

It was 32 degrees this morning and my car was covered in hard frost when I drove to work. I was not happy.

Oddly enough, we have not had a frost yet. It's snowing, but there is no frost. Isn't that strange? And no, I hate the snow. It makes my feetsies all cold and wet.

Ah, we call them "feetsies", too! Funny, since I've never really heard anybody else use that word. Tell the Woman good luck with her certification! I'm sure it will all go well.

I'm sure they will love your video! Congrats on the class. Heck, at 5:30 I'm thinking about dinner, not exercise. It's a good thing most people don't think like me!

I almost forgot--I took my first Bodypump class on Saturday! It was great, but I was soooooo very sore for several days. But I plan to go back next Saturday!

Oh Leah - How exciting! It's normal to be sore. You will be sore until you build up some endurance. It took me about 4 months before my muscles didn't scream. They still do occasionally when I go up in weight.

    Hi Norman,
Sorry to hear that you got snow and you don't like it. We have snow here now, but I love it!
Congrats to Woman on her own Body Pump class! My mom was always too afraid to take that class when she was a gym member.
    Love Clover xo
