Lake Powhatan

While we were cruisin' this weekend, we went to Lake Powhatan.



Lake Powhatan is right by our house, but this was the first time we had ever been there. Aside from a lake, there are lots of trails and camp sites there. We were really sad to find that the lake was drained. There is a creek that runs through the lake, and the Woman tried to take me out to the creek for a drink of water, but it was a lot muddier than it looked, and she sunk in the ground! It was sad, because she was wearing her new shoes, but they came clean with a little help from the vegetable sprayer.

The People let me off my leash while we were there. Dogs are supposed to be kept on their leash in the park, but there weren't many people there, so the Woman broke the rules! Woo-hoo! I was a mountain dog!
