Cruisin'

Cruisin' around in the Miata with the top down is one of my favorite things to do. It was so nice this weekend that we decided to take a ride. Sure it's snowing now, but it *was* really nice this weekend.

The Woman thinks it's really funny when the wind catches my ears. She says I look like a Frenchie!

Mr. Ian always drives when I go on the trip, because he doesn't like to be the one in the passenger seat holding me. Apparently, I'm a wiggle worm.

I have to be held really tight when we're cruisin', because I did actually jump out of the car one time. I wasn't hurt though, since we were just sitting idle in the Taco Bell parking lot.

Sounds like you guys had a fun trip with awesome weather. It is not very often you can ride with the top down, or even the windows open in January.

Do you ever try and bite the air when you are riding in the car. Napoleon tries to catch the air in his mouth when he has his head out the window. One time he also tried to jump out the window also but luckily we had a good grip on him! Silly pugs!

Daisy did the same thing in the parking lot of Starbucks once...scared the daylights out of me! You pugs need to be careful!

The Chewb caught some "wicked air" when she leaped out the backseat window while I was driving. If I had not been so happy she didn't become a greasy spot on the road, I would have made her sorry she bailed on me.

...then again, I know several humans that have thought to do the same. Apparently folks don't think I'm a good driver. Whateva.

Meimei did the same thing when we were parked in front of a subway. Apparently, she thought her papa needed help with the ordering! Stay in the car!

Willow does that too....so much we ended up having to put her in the WAAAY back with a Pet guard gate....Her and Belle have a great time back there...now they have 3 BIG windows to look out of...
I love Normans ears flopping in the wind...he looks like he is ready for take off!

Tell Mr. Ian it could be worse, he could have 4 Pugs trying to sit on his lap!

Woo Hoo! Cruisin with the top down looks like lots of fun! We wish we had a convertible. Of course we would only be able to use it during the 3 weeks a year when it isn't raining.
