Squirrel Acrobatics

Woman got this bird feeder for her birthday this year. She chose to mount it on the side of the porch so the squirrels could not reach it. Woman is so silly to think that there is any place in the world you can put a bird feeder that is out of reach of a squirrel.

This industrious squirrel shimmied up the spouting, climbed across the screen and then stretched his limber body out to reach the bird feeder. Pretty impressive feet, yes?

He couldn't figure out how to get on top of the bird feeder, so he just dipped his head down into the tray to get some bites. That can't be good for the digestive system.

When Ian opened the door to scare him away, he scurried up the screen and back down the rain spout!

crazy squirrel

Woman was annoyed that this squirrel found a way to the bird feeder, but she said that for as much work as it took to get a couple pieces of birdseed, he earned it!

VERY impressive. This might just be an honorary Paw-lympics medal right there!

WoW! That is truly impressive. Really. Nevis is right, he wins the gold. (Except it is probably a she, for her perseverence and flexibility.)

Those little squirrels sure do get a bad rap...they're just hungry. But they do get real bossy about that food.

squirrels are very crafty rodents! that looks just like the ones that are getting to my feeder in the bay window. i'm thinking of putting cayenne pepper in with the seed - that should deter them, right?

This squirrel is certainly giving the Chinese Gymnastics team a run for their money. Was the squirrel 16 by the time the Olympics started? If so, I think we have our newest member of the American team!
