Someone Get a Hairdryer
If everyone on the cul de sac brought out their hairdryers, we could melt this snow in a jiffy! As it is, we still can't get out of the neighborhood. It's supposed to be a little warmer and sunnier today, so Woman is hoping the snow will melt and she can get to her class tonight. Stupid snow!
We saw a lot of this throughout the weekend ...
Neighbors visiting to take advantage of our electricity. We had lots of fun visiting and sharing our warmth with them. Their power is still out!!
Sarah had fun playing in the snow, but she got her fill pretty quickly too. She and her family abandoned their house on day 2, and we haven't seen them since!!
A lovely snowy sunrise.
The snow made for a beautiful view ... that got really boring after a while!
The solar lights that line our sidewalk look like gnomes buried under the snow!
I'm sure this doesn't seem like a lot of snow for you people who live "up north", but for us in Asheville who don't own snow shovels, plows or have a supply of road salt on hand, it has been a huge deal. It was fun for a day, but now it's day 4, and the fun is over. Way over.
And I need to pee.

We can't imagine what it must be like for you guys. If there's even a little bit of dew on the grass, we don't wanna go out and pee.
Hang in there Norman!

We do feel bad for you. It would be one thing if you were used to it, but you're not. When we get snow, dad has to shovel or snowblow if he expects us too pee outside. If it's really deep, mom takes us in the garage, but that doesn't always work.
It should all melt... by April.

For us on the west coast, that is alot of snow!! That sucks about everyone's power being out, did they say why?
Indy and Gus will run along side the house (where there is maybe a foot wide pathway around the back where the snow has't covered. Maybe that is what you are doing Norman??
