Thank Pugness for Velvet Ears
The Woman likes to rub my velvety ears, because they feel so soft and supple. The other day as she was rubbing my ear, she felt a strange lump. On closer inspection she saw that it was a tick! A tick nibbling on my velvety goodness! For shame! Thank Pugness the Woman likes to rub my ears; otherwise, I might still have a tick feasting on my sweet puggy flavor. I have never had a tick on me before. It felt weird.

I use to have a roomate would would mention (quite often) that Alfred's ears were so soft like velvet and that she wanted to cut them off and carry them around with her....

It is so true! Pugs ears are the best! I am obsessed with mine (much to my pugs dismay). I seriously play with the pugs ears all day long. It's a total compulsion.
Sorry for the tick, Norman. Winston had a tick once that had apparently been on him for awhile (it was all tucked up in his neck folds) and I had never seen one before. It was all gray and I thought he had a growth like a skin tag. I was actually making arrangements to take him to the vet when I noticed it had legs! EW Ew Ew!! After that I had our entire house and yard sprayed, I became so paranoid (not that I wasn't before...).

My Daddy like to chew on my ears because they too are so nice and soft. It's very annoying. He's crazy.

I have always said that pug ears are as soft as the plant "Lamb's Ear". They feel the same.

Willow and Belle are often told they have such velvety ears too....
I just hope I never find a nasty ol' tick on them! Yikes!!!!
